Due to the recession, there are bargains to be found everywhere as firms look to make what profit they can, which is great news for the public, according to lastminute.com.

From cheap international calls to nights on the town to cheap mobile deals, there is a huge range of special offers out there for people who bother to track them down.
Mark Bower, lifestyle sales director at lastminute.com, said that people will "spend the same this year on their leisure time, if not more".
"People are still going out but are not paying full price for anything - people are being a lot savvier on what they're purchasing. At the moment, nobody should be paying full price for anything," he added.
Traditional two week holidays are still proving popular, with a lastminute.com survey finding 23 per cent holidaymakers intend to go on one this summer.
