T-Mobile device for tracking outdoor activities

Ny Tracks has been launched to allow people to show tracks of movements on a map and then present live statistics on progress.
Using mobile broadband, this information can then be shared anywhere in the world through Google Maps.

This way, as well as making cheap international calls to let friends back home know how trips abroad are going, they will be able to see progress on their mobiles.
Dylan Casey, product manager at Google and a former professional cyclist, wrote on the search engine's blog: "I can easily share my rides on the spot with anyone I'd like by recording and uploading my track right from my phone and then sharing it out via email or even Twitter.
"We're looking forward to seeing all of the creative ways people use it."
Another recently launched geographical device from Google is Latitude, a feature on Google Maps.
