Cheap broadband used to check employees' social networks

Those in management positions are also using the sites to find out about potential staff, according to Yasni.
Just under one-third (32 per cent) of managers in the UK have searched using their cheap broadband deals to discover information about workers.

Content that bosses viewed as negative included inappropriate or drunk photographs and rude comments.
Lisette Howlett, founder of HireScores, stated: "What's fundamental here is dealing with your findings intelligently.
"Recruiters should appreciate that a social networking site is just that, 'social', and therefore language and attitudes are inevitably more relaxed. On the other hand, job seekers should be aware of what recruiters have access to and whether this sends out the right impression of them."
