BT back in cheap mobile deals market

Speculation is suggesting that a joint venture with 3 and T-Mobile could see the telecoms giant becoming involved with mobiles again.
A strategic review has been ordered by Ian Livingston, BT's chief executive, which mobile-phones.co.uk believes could signal its return.
T-Mobile Phone Deals
Thomas Newton, a mobile phone expert from the website, stated that increased competition in other areas could convince BT to take the plunge.
"Now facing competition from its former progeny on two fronts, a joint venture with T-Mobile and 3 to capitalise on the uptake of internet services and features on mobile devices seems the obvious choice," he said.
"Especially seeing as the mobile arm of Virgin Media, BT's main competitor in the broadband market, also piggybacks off of the T-Mobile network."
BT was previously in the mobile market with its Cellnet brand, with disbanded.
