That is the opinion of the Institute of Travel and Tourism, which has claimed that the opportunities for international travel also convince people to move into the industry.
Many cheap international calls are made by travel workers to relay information and organise trips for themselves and others.

Claire Steiner, director and chair of education and training at the Institute of Travel and Tourism, said: "The travel industry has always been perceived as a glamorous industry because of the travel aspect of it.
"The experience it gives you, the opportunity to integrate with new cultures and see the world and how things work and it is an amazing way to experience such things."
She added that the sector is growing as travellers relay their experience to others.
Students looking for training on travel courses were boosted by the government's announcement that it will fund an extra 35,000 apprentices next year.
