Holidaymakers urged to book international travel now

Rather than gamble on finding an international travel bargain, Thomson and First Choice believe that the best deals are available in January.
Doing research on cheap broadband and making cheap international calls to potential destinations could end up saving money in the long run.

Emma Waddell, head of public relations at Thomson and First Choice, commented that the recession should not convince people that they will find better deals further down the line.
"This is a key booking time for holidays and people would normally be booking their early deals this time of year," she commented.
"There will always be odd pockets where someone's cancelled but we actually do believe that the best prices are this time of year."
Research from greenbee has found that the main holiday concern for 12 per cent of Brits is delays.
