Many people will be making cheap calls to Spain this year as they arrange international travel trips to the destination.
Simon Calder, an independent travel expert, commented that the value for money the country represents remains unchanged, despite fluctuating exchange rates.
How to make cheap International Calls
"Spain is going to retain its position as our absolute favourite country. Because the pound has been down in relation to the euro, it doesn't mean we are going to turn our back to it," he said.
"Spain is fantastic value for money whether you are in the Balearic Islands or Costas, you are going to get some very good deals this summer."
Research from VisitBritain and Visit London has recently claimed that 45 per cent of people in the UK intend to reduce the amount they spend on holidays and trips away.
