That is the opinion of the Ski Club of Great Britain, which has suggested that choosing the right resort is one of the major decisions to make.

Carrie Hainge, brand and product manager at the Ski Club of Great Britain, said that choosing a place with the right snow conditions is also important.
"Resort choice is a big factor, whether you are looking for larger resorts or a more traditional resort," she stated.
"Snow conditions are key. It tends to be the top resorts which are more popular and snow-sure than some of the smaller resorts."
Last month, a report from the Foreign and Commonwealth Office name the Dolomites in Italy as "the classiest ski area in Europe".
