Cheap pay as you go mobiles allowed in hospitals

From today, hospitals across the country can allow people to use mobile phones, after official policy was altered.
This could allow patients to use their cheap pay as you go mobiles to get in touch with relatives and make cheap international calls to let people know how they are feeling.
Pay As You Go - Great Savings
Ben Bradshaw, the health minister, commented: "Close support and comfort from loved ones when you are poorly in hospital is essential.
"Mobiles phones are commonplace in everyday life these days and people have told us that they'd like to be able to use their phones more in hospital to keep in touch."
He added that patients should also be allowed to use services such as the internet while they are recovering in hospitals.
A trial to use mobile phones on the underground has also been given the go ahead in Glasgow.
