Cameron in cheap broadband call

David Cameron, the party leader, is set to deliver a statement regarding the development of home broadband within the country.
By 2018, Mr Cameron expects every single home in the country to have broadband.

He believes that everybody should have access to the internet and will also discuss the use of fibre optics to provide faster, more reliable cheap broadband deals.
He will say: "Fibre optic broadband is changing the way people work and do business, and it has the potential to completely transform our economy.
"It could open up new markets for our creative industries, promote innovation, create new, family-friendly jobs as people can work from home - and help reduce carbon emissions."
An action plan titled Digital Britain that will consider broadband development is set to be revealed on January 14th by Lord Carter, first Minister for Communications, Technology and Broadcasting.
