According to ABTA - The Travel Association there will be an "Obama boom" in 2009, especially from people in the UK.
An increase of 13 per cent has been predicted for Brits choosing to visit the US this year.

Frances Tuke, spokesperson for ABTA, commented: "In the United States, we think there will be an 'Obama boom', due to the confidence factor."
"It has a feel good factor with it. With Barack Obama, for many reasons, people [will] feel a whole new optimism."
International travel is set to increase during the upcoming summer, with ABTA and the Foreign and Commonwealth Office research finding that one in five Brits are intending to book a last minute break.
