Cheap pay as you go mobiles provoke 'internet everywhere' attitude

Also, more people are using laptops for cheap broadband, which also fuels the 'internet everywhere' attitude, according to The Cloud.
Niall Murphy, co-founder and chief strategy officer of The Cloud, commented that growing mobile sales and laptops outselling PCs illustrates the growing desire for the internet to be accessed whenever and wherever.

"Mobile and broadband is how people prefer services, and that is evidenced by the devices people are consuming services through," he said.
"It's creating an expectation that internet services are something that you carry with you in your pocket, something that you expect to ubiquitously access wherever you might be, whether you are in your home or your office or out and about."
Between 2002 and 2007, the amount of time spent using mobile phones has doubled, an Ofcom survey revealed in August.
