Cheap pay as you go mobile searches up 40 per cent

Moneysupermarket data has shown that there has been a 40 per cent increase in cheap mobile phone deals searches in the last two months.
James Parker, manager of mobiles at moneysupermarket.com, said that "a raft of new deals" was nothing but good news for customers.
Pay As You Go - Great Savings
"The pay as you go market has become very competitive and the host of deals on offer make them a good Christmas gift, particularly for children wanting their first phone," he added.
"The surge in interest for these kinds of deals also shows people are looking at ways to manage their budget in these tough times."
Tips from Moneysupermarket have also been offered in order to find the best pay as you go deal, including looking for features that will actually get used, such as cameras and mp3 players.
