Cheap calls to the US as Americans visit UK

As the exchange rate represents good value for the dollar against the pound, many Americans could decide now is the right time to take a trip to Britain, according to the Association of Independent Tour Operators (AITO).
This increase could see more people making cheap mobile calls to the US as Brits ask people to fly over to see them, while Americans call back from the UK with news of their break.
Cheap calls to USA
Ian Bradley, public relations officer at AITO, commented: "The dollar has become a lot stronger compared to the pound, so the UK is looking a little more attractive now for Americans.
"They've always been coming but the numbers fluctuated recently, it hasn't been great value for them [in the past]. I think now we will certainly see them increasing again."
A poll from moneysupermarket.com has found that 29 per cent of respondents are considering international travel outside of Europe to get a better exchange rate.
