'More belief' needed for cheap broadband

Next generation broadband could potentially have a huge impact on Britain, but more belief is needed that it could work, Analysys Mason has suggested.
Matt Yardley, partner and head of broadband and media at Analysys Mason, commented that home broadband users aren't completely sure how the service would work at present.

"To make it work you have to have a belief beyond where we are today. You have to believe that the market is going to deliver multiple services and the potential revenue sources that come from different parts of the value chain," he said.
"That's the only way that I can see this working. I don't think that people have a clear view on how that's going to work."
