Cheap broadband 'increasingly popular' over Christmas

That is according to Shopzilla, a shopping search website that suggests that many people are turning their back on the high street in favour of the internet.
A spokesman for the firm commented that the internet is popular with many people as they can find cheaper prices online.

"What we do know is that under the current economic climate everybody's looking at ways to save money," he said.
"Online shopping is becoming increasingly popular and once people have tried it their shopping habits after that go from traditional retailers to online."
A survey from the firm from last month indicated that savings of up to 32 per cent could be found by using home broadband.
Which? research has named the iPod nano fourth generation as the most popular gift this Christmas.
