Home broadband shoppers on the up
News brought to you by Skint Tariffs, providers of cheap broadband deals.The total amount of money spent by people using home broadband has been estimated to have increased greatly in 2008.
Business advisory firm Deloitte has suggested that online spending this year is set to total £4.7 billion, which would represent a ten per cent increase on 2007 figures.
Furthermore, the amount of shopping being done using cheap broadband is expected to rise by ten per cent as well, as people search for money saving deals using their computers.

Anish Patel, director in retail consulting at Deloitte, said that online retailers "are well positioned" for a successful festive period.
"Online retailing is still growing, showing more resilience to the current economic storm," he added.
"Internet retailers should be optimistic as price focused shoppers head online for convenience and to search for the best deals."
The favourite to be the best-selling computer game this Christmas is Call of Duty: World At War.
