Parents should play games on home broadband 'before children'

On-Line Gamers Anonymous has made the claim and suggests that taking this measure could increase the safety and enjoyment of youngsters who play games using cheap broadband.
Some content may be unsuitable for children, so adults should try it first, and may end up having fun in the meantime.

Liz Woolley, founder of On-Line Gamers Anonymous, commented that there are not currently many parents doing this and an increase is needed.
"A lot of the parents who have never been addicted to games or who don't play games, they don't understand what is going on in the games," she said.
"Parents should never let their children play the games until they have played it first."
Research from the Smith and Jones Centre has found that 52 per cent of internet users aged between 65 and 75 go online on a daily basis.
