Pay as you go smartphone owners choosing games

The firm has revealed that game applications are the most in-demand downloads for people with smartphones.
Greg Joswiak, vice-president of worldwide product marketing at Apple, said that the ease in which people can access games on their cheap pay as you go mobiles and other smartphones makes them such a hit.
Pay As You Go - Great Savings
"Gaming has been the biggest category of the apps store – there are over 1,700 games available. The efficiency of the apps store means that the game developer doesn't have to worry about physical goods and the manufacturing of them," he said.
"Every customer has access to it and they can buy those games or applications without ever having to leave their house."
Of the ten best-selling applications on iPhones seven were games, with games becoming the fastest-growing application for phones in the last three months.
