More people 'gravitating to' home broadband

Even those who have not used the internet in the past are beginning to use cheap broadband, especially as their jobs require them to have knowledge of technology, Social Media Portal has indicated.
Rachel Hawkes, co-founder and editor of Social Media Portal, believes that as more services are available to help people get to grips with the web, it is growing in popularity.

"It's very true that with the increased integration of technology into our busy lives, and more and more services becoming almost entirely reliant on computers and internet, those that have not grown up with computers or been introduced to them as part of their working life are gravitating to technology more and more," she said.
Half of the respondents to an Entertainment Media Research survey replied that they owned a wireless network at home.
