With school out, many families will be heading off on international travel trips next week and Tesco has come up with some ways to save while still having fun.

Tesco Travel Insurance's head, Rachel Cutler, stated that small steps can add up to big savings in the current economic climate.
"Holidays don't have to be expensive, with a little planning and some clever cost cutting you can still enjoy a happy half term together without fearing for your finances – even during the credit crunch," she said.
Another tip is to try local cuisine and choose cheapest transport options, including biking trips.
