X Factor for T-Mobile phones

Called The X Factor 2008 The Mobile Game, people can now find out if they have what it takes to be a star by using their mobile phone.
It is available now and is compatible on handsets from UK operators including T-Mobile, Orange and O2.
Players can guide their own personal player avatar through the various stages of the show and compete in mini-contests to improve their chances of winning.
People who are usually not interested in gaming are being targeted with this game by its makers Namco Bandai.
Barry O'Neill, president of Namco Bandai Networks Europe, said: "The X Factor is in many ways a national institution, giving us the opportunity to target a younger generation of mobile gamer."
It has been forecast that by 2012 mobile games will be worth £80.5 million, a £22 million increase over the next four years.
