Cheap broadband bargains don't include ivory
News brought to you by Skint Tariffs, providers of cheap broadband deals.Cheap broadband users searching for bargains online will not be able to get their hands on any goods made with ivory on eBay, the internet shopping website.
The company has issued a worldwide ban on the products, which will come into effect on January 1st next year, as a result of campaigning from conservation groups.
Elephants are becoming increasingly endangered by the ivory trade and this is the latest measure to stop the illegal activity, which sees around 20,000 of the animals killed annually.
However, millions of other money saving deals are available on the site and elsewhere on the web, including cheap Pay As You Go mobiles, with shopping online growing rapidly this year.
Christmas shoppers are expected to use cheap broadband to pick out gifts more than ever before this year. In a recent survey 42 per cent of consumers admitted they expected to increase online spending in the coming festive season.
