T-Mobile phone available by end of month
News brought to you by Skint Tariffs. Providers of price comparison for cheap international calls.T-Mobile's new mobile phone is set to be released in the UK on a number of money saving tariffs by the end of October, following its launch in the US this week.
The T-Mobile G1 will be released by the operator in Britain on October 30th, with the firm claiming 25,000 people have already pre-registered to purchase the model.
A mobile expert in the US has already got his hands on the sought-after phone and admitted that it compares favourably with the iPhone.
Dwight Silverman of the Houston Chronicle wrote in the newspaper: "Having been an iPhone 3G owner since July, I was prepared to not be too impressed with the T-Mobile G1.
"But the G1 is a lot more exciting in person - sleeker than photos make it look, and the software is impressive for an initial version. No, it's not as elegant as the iPhone, but of the touch-screen smart phones out there, it's the closest contender yet."
Included in the phone's arsenal of features are a QWERTY keyboard, large touchscreen and high-speed internet service.
