News brought to you by Skint Tariffs, providers of cheap broadband deals.People using cheap broadband could find themselves being recruited by MI6, as the intelligence service is searching for new employees using Facebook.
The use of the social networking site by the Secret Intelligence Service is part of its attempt to broaden the range of backgrounds from which it recruits.
Online advertisements as well as newspaper and radio ads are all part of an image change for the organisation.
A Foreign Office spokeswoman told the Guardian that MI6 staff should "reflect the society" they help protect.
"A number of public channels are used to promote job opportunities in the organisation and Facebook is a recent example of this," she said.
There are three advertisements that pop-up on Facebook, including one that asks: "Time for a career change? MI6 can use your skills. Join us as an operational officer collecting and analysing global intelligence to protect the UK."
A new version of Facebook that is far more responsive has been launched for the iPhone in the UK.
