Nun uses mobile to write novel

Jakucho Setouchi, who is 86, has written numerous books and translated the 11th century romance epic The Tale of Genji, is to use her mobile to pen her new release.
The Japanese nun said: "At this age, there are few things that interest me. But it was the first time I had written a cellphone novel, and it was exciting."
People using their phones to make cheap calls to China could find that they are interrupting their friends reading mobile novels, which are extremely popular in the country.
Starting out with short chapters sent as text messages, many mobile novels have now become huge hits and are appearing on best-sellers lists in the Far East, dominating the book charts in Japan.
Though the trend hasn't yet caught on in the UK, two novels from crime publisher Caffeine Nights are being launched in Britain next year and could provoke a surge in interest.
