The smartphone had already been launched on Vodafone in Malaysia, Indonesia, Turkey and Luxembourg, but now customers in Britain can get hold of it.
Both T-Mobile and Orange have been selling the product for the past fortnight and it is proving very popular.
O2 are yet to announce plans to launch the new BlackBerry, but 3 has stated it will do so in November.
Compared to older BlackBerry phones, the new version is far more powerful, but also slimmer and sleeker, with leather backs.
Features that can be added on to the device include a speech-to-text service called MyCaption, which is already available worldwide.
The BlackBerry Bold has been touted as the "iPhone killer" in reference to the rivalry for business between the two smartphones.
