Check out our cheap calls to Spain, cheap calls to China, cheap calls to India, cheap calls to Dubai and cheap calls to USAPeople from the UK are still heading to European locations like Spain despite the onset of the credit crunch and the pound faring badly against the euro.
More Brits will be making cheap calls to Spain to find out how friends and relatives are enjoying their holidays, with the country one of many in the Eurozone benefiting from increased sales of euros.
The Post Office revealed that sales of the currency increased by 3.2 per cent in June and July, compared to the same period in 2007.
Helen Warburton, head of travel for the Post Office, commented: "The continuing growth in demand for euros shows that most holidaymakers are not deserting summer sun favourites like Spain, Greece and France."
Holidays are not being sacrificed in the face of the economic downturn, with recent studies suggesting that summer breaks are one of the last things that people in the UK are willing to sacrifice in order to save money.
