O2 broadband wins awards
News brought to you by Skint Tariffs, providers of cheap broadband deals.A new broadband awards ceremony held in London has seen O2 walk away with the prize for its speedy broadband.
In the Top 10 Broadband awards, the cheap broadband provider was also named as the winner in the category of customer service.
Other cheap broadband providers to be recognised in the awards included BT, 3, Virgin Media, TalkTalk, AOL Broadband, PlusNet, Be and Vodafone.
Vodafone, won in a category often associated with cheap broadband - student broadband.
"The winners of the Top 10 Broadband awards have distinguished themselves in the UK broadband market by offering first-class packages tailored to niche areas of the market," web editor Jessica McArdle commented.
Winner of the mobile broadband category was 3.
The awards were given following analysis of data recovered from more than 310,000 broadband speed tests.
