MySpace silver lining for Cloud
News brought to you by Skint Tariffs, providers of cheap broadband deals.A free-to-end-user Wi-Fi service has announced it is to allow free access to MySpace, the social networking site.
Cheap broadband users accessing the Cloud can access the site free of charge when in public locations around the country.
The Cloud is becoming increasingly prominent in places such as McDonalds and is also available in many hostels and pubs in Britain.
Steve Nicholson, CEO of the Cloud, said: "MySpace is renowned as one of the worlds leading social networking platforms, which makes it an ideal partner for us.
"The Cloud is delighted to be working with MySpace to provide many millions of its users free access to their music, video and friends over Cloud Wi-Fi."
Content from MySpace will be shown on the log-in page of the Cloud, with access to its renowned music profile pages included in the service, giving cheap broadband users more access to the internet wherever they are.
Another deal is currently running between the Wi-Fi provider and the BBC to provide free access to features including BBC radio and iPlayer.
