Lion reunion becomes huge internet hit
News brought to you by Skint Tariffs, providers of cheap broadband deals. The moment a lion was reunited with his childhood owners has become an overnight hit with broadband users, with millions of viewers watching the incident on YouTube and other internet sites.
Over six million cheap broadband users have watched a lion called Christian leap onto his former owners when they met at a Kenyan wildlife sanctuary.
John Rendall and Anthony Bourke had originally bought the big cat from Harrods' exotic animals department in 1969, keeping him in their Chelsea flat as a pet until he became too large.
Christian now lives in the Kenyan sanctuary that features in the film 'Born Free', and was visited by his owners one year after living in the wild.
For a moment, it appears the 185 pound lion may attack the pair, but instead he jumps up to hug and lick the two Australians in an incredible display of affection.
Cheap broadband users often view new material posted on the likes of YouTube, but this video is 39 years old.
