iPint top of iTunes downloads
News brought to you by Skint Tariffs, providers of cheap broadband deals.Broadband users have turned a cyber-pint of Carling the most downloaded free game application from iTunes.
The so-called iPint is a promotional programme from Carling, which involves users downloading the application for their Apple mobile.
The game sees consumers use the phone's ability to tell the angle at which the handset is being held to move a pint around a bar top navigating obstacles to get the glass to a customer.
Once the task is completed the iPhone displays an empty pint glass which then fills with beer.
Tilting the handset, gives the appearance of the beer disappearing as if it were going down a drinker's throat.
The revolutionary new marketing programme takes advantage of the mobile platform and features unique to the iPhone.
It also highlights that as well as using mobile phones to make cheap international calls, consumers can play games and even interact with advertising.
