Super Mario mashed with Doom
News brought to you by Skint Tariffs, providers of cheap broadband deals.Fans of both the Nintendo character Mario and the gaming series of Doom can experience a game mash up if they have internet broadband.
The game trailers website features a video of what it would be like to play the Super Mario games as if they were a first person shoot-em up in the style of iconic Doom.
In the opening scenes the character picks up a Gatling gun followed by a shotgun before jumping into a tube to be transported into the world of Super Mario.
There the familiar bold colours are experienced from a unique perspective – from behind a shotgun. Creatures, such as goombas and turtles, which were previously killed by jumping on their heads are now annihilated by the shotgun's pellets.
The video based on the two games has clearly excited members of the website as it has had 38,333 views, and received an average rating of 9.1.
