Internet radio could reach cars with iPhone

Apple's new handset, can be used with a program called Tuner, which turns the device into a portable internet radio, and since most people listen to their radio in their cars, it could effectively bring web radio to drivers.
As a result, the hold that traditional broadcasters have had on 'drivetime' radio could erode, as could their hold on places that have radio at work.
Using the iPhone drivers and employees, as well as any consumer will be able to hear the ramblings of a distant broadcaster.
Setting up an internet radio station does not require massive investment in transmitters and some are claiming it could do for radio what the web did for print, democratise content.
