Orange launches into online radio
News brought to you by Skint Tariffs, providers of cheap broadband deals.Mobile network and broadband provider Orange has launched a new music service that gives users access to unlimited access to online radio stations as well as downloads that are sent to both PC and mobile phone.
Music from around 4,000 web-based radio stations can be streamed to the £99 device which will work with the Orange Live Box broadband router as well as any other broadband system.
As well as tuning into the sounds of cyberspace, the device can act as a speaker for an mp3 player or play music form a USB memory stick.
While listening to the radio, users can bookmark tunes they like and would like to hear again, which then become available from the Orange Music store for 99p.
Once again, any broadband user, such as those with TalkTalk or Virgin Media accounts can also access the Orange service.
Included in the price of the music download is a digital download and receiving the song on the buyer's phone.
