One in five 'want to change mobile provider'
News brought to you by Skint Tariffs, providers of price comparison for cheap international calls. Almost one in five mobile phone contract customers are looking to change their provider, according to a recent survey.
The 2008 UK Mobile Study found that 20 per cent of people with mobile phone network contracts were looking to ditch their current provider.
Skinttariffs.com offers deals from a range of providers, including the Virgin Network, which came top of the consumer satisfaction league.
Pay as you go customers also revealed that they were less frustrated with their provider.
Only ten per cent of these handset users claimed to be looking for a new deal.
The survey carried out by JD Power & Associates also revealed that consumers were increasingly concerned with the green credentials of their network provider.
Caspar Tearle, the firm's director of service industries research said: "Being 'green' is an increasingly important requirement of today's mobile telephone service providers."
He added: "It will be interesting to track how customer expectations for greater environmental friendliness will shape the industry within the coming years."
