O2 tops satisfaction charts
O2 subscribers are the most satisfied with customer service of all mobile phone users according to a new survey.The study revealed that Telefonica-owned O2, which offers deals through skinttariffs.com topped the charts as far as overall customer service was concerned.
Research carried out by the moneysupermarket website revealed that the O2 also excelled win value for money, communication with customer and in the overall service categories.
Orange and Vodafone, which also offers deal through skinttariffs.com, were rated as having the best network coverage in the country, meaning users could make calls, receive texts and access their voicemail from most areas.
According to the survey, Orange was also rated the company most likely and able to deliver on its promises.
Technical support at Vodafone was revealed to be the most popular.
The happiest users were on contract the survey revealed, with Pay As You Go customers the least satisfied.
"Pay-as-you-go customers are getting the roughest ride as networks focus their service on their seemingly 'loyal' contract customers; respondents placed Vodafone and O2's contract service top for most categories," said Rob Barnes head of broadband and mobiles at the website.
