Texts can express compensation claim interest
News brought to you by Skint Tariffs, providers of price comparison for cheap international calls. As well as making cheap international calls from their mobile phone using skinttaraiffs.com access codes, customers will now be able to explore their interest in making an accident claim from their handset.
The National Accident Helpline is teaming up with text message marketers in order to allow viewers of television adverts to lodge their desire to ask for some advice on how to claim.
Customers interested in following the steps that could lead to compensation are to be given a number to request a call back.
The text message, which will cost the same as a standard SMS, will be sent to the National Accident Helpline, ensuring that the customer is contacted.
Beth Powell head of marketing at National Accident Helpline told Precision Marketing: "In this age of instant communications, mobile response is fast becoming the most effective way for a brand advertiser to engage with its customers in a personalised and immediate way.
"Currently we spend more than £6m a year on television advertising and we will be investing further in the new mobile marketing service. We know from research that for a number of our customers this will be their preferred method of contact."
