Spike Lee to direct social phone film

The partnership between Lee and Nokia will mean that as well as using their handset to make cheap international phone calls, Nokia users will collaborate with the Oscar nominee.
Lee, who anticipated that in future films will be made with devices like Nokias new N95 handset, will direct a film in three acts, each of which is three to five minutes long.
"I'm interested because it's a great collaborative effort," Lee said.
"Within five years, new movies will be made with devices like these."
He added that there was the added appeal of working on the film, which will have the theme of humanity, with talented but untrained people.
"I like working with people who have talent but aren't in film school," he said.
Lee has previously appeared in adverts for phone network Orange, which offers deals through skinttariffs.com.
