Nokia relaunches mobile gaming
News brought to you by Skint Tariffs, providers of price comparison for cheap international calls. Mobile phone users who purchase the new Nokia n-Gage handsets will be able to take advantage of the firm's new mobile gaming services following a relaunch.
The service, which turns the handset into an interactive games console with which users can connect to other gamers, was launched five years ago, though it failed to take off.
But the company has set up a new service which permits users to download games as well as a new range of handsets.
The N81, N82 and N95 N-Series phones will all be compatible with the new platform.
Nokia's vice president of games Jaakko Kaidesoja said: "We're very excited to get this into the hands of our customers, because with them we will shape the future of mobile gaming."
Users who opt for these phones will also be able to make cheap international calls using the skinttariffs.com access code.
Keen gamers will be able to play FIFA 08, Brain Challenge and World Series of Poker Pro Challenge at first, with new games set to be released.
