3 cuts dongle cost

News brought to you by Skint Tariffs, providers of price comparison for cheap international calls
Mobile phone provider 3, which offers deals to customers through skinttariffs.com, has decided to cut the cost of its USB modems from £99.99 to £69.99 for Pay as you Go services.
The cost of USB modems, known as dongles, has been dropped by the provider as it makes a move to attract new customers.
Dongles connect to the computer as a memory stick would, on the computer's USB port.
The mobile phone provider has also cut the cost of its broadband packages.
Customers seeking to use up to one Gb will now pay £10, with the three Gb package costing £15 and the seven Gb deal costing £25. Each of these pay as you go add-ons is set to last one month, effectively making these packages monthly deals without the long term contracts.
According to the provider, users of the three Gb package could send up to 2,000 plain text emails, surf the web for 100 hours or 100 two minute downloads or 200 music track downloads.
