'Millions' jetting off for Easter break
News brought to you by Skint Tariffs, providers of price comparison for cheap international calls. A huge number of international calls are expected to be made by British travellers over the next few days as two million of us jet off on holiday.
The Association of British Travel Agents (ABTA) says that the number of people is slightly lower than other years due to Easter falling before the schools break up, but that flights will still be packed out.
Holidaymakers are warned to ensure they have organised cheap deals on international calls or risk facing a hefty phone bill on their return.
Travellers are expected to enjoy both beach holidays and winter sports activity trips such as skiing and snowboarding over the Easter weekend.
Justin Fleming, president of ABTA, said: "The early Easter has given our customers the extra option of heading to the slopes as well as topping up their tans and the extended peak period has also seen a flattening out of prices."
Business people who are taking a well-earned break this bank holiday are also urged to ensure they organise a cheap international call deal if they plan to phone the office regularly.
