Brits still losing out on savings
News brought to you by Skint Tariffs, providers of price comparison for cheap international calls.A new report has found that thousands of Brits are losing out because they do not have an Individual Savings Account (ISA).
According to Nationwide Building Society huge amounts of money could be saved by using these tax free accounts but two thirds of people do not have an ISA.
The comments come as the April 1st deadline for filling up your ISA to the limit approaches.
"It's a concern that two thirds of people do not have an ISA," said Matthew Carter, director for savings at Nationwide.
"ISAs were introduced ten years ago and yet some people still do not understand them or feel they haven't enough money to invest in them.
"We want people to understand that anyone can take advantage of tax-efficient savings, no matter how much money they have to save."
Savings can also be made by shopping around for firms which offer cheap international call tariffs.
