Rental can save money compared to taxi to airport

Rental firm Europcar points out that driving one of their rental cars to the airport can prove more cost effective than renting a taxi, while it also offers the benefit of not paying for parking.
And, upon landing, the firm says that a rental car for the first leg of the journey can also save money in relation to a cab service.
Holidaymakers going abroad can also make other savings while away by making cheap calls to the UK to gloat about the sun and fun they are experiencing.
Another tip is when using a credit card to opt to pay in euros instead of pounds. Opting to pay in pounds leaves the exchange rate and fees at the discretion of the seller and can significantly increase the cost of products and souvenirs.
