Car tips help with energy saving

With the costs of mortgages going up at the same time as the prices of household products and food, thousands of Britons are looking for ways to save money, with people turning to cheap calls as well as being more careful with their car expenditures.
The Times suggests a series of hints for Britons who are feeling the pinch.
One option is to find the cheapest source of petrol with 15 pence the difference between the most expensive and cheapest petrol offered around the country.
As well as cutting the cost of refuelling, the paper reports that driving with more care will help drive down costs.
Stopping and starting burns up more fuel than driving at a steady speed and keeping within the speed limit is both safer and more fuel efficient than exceeding it.
Another suggestion for motorists is to take the Pass Plus test which could entitle them to a better rating.
